LONDON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday questioned why Barack Obama's administration did not act on allegations of Russian meddling in the U.S. 2016 presidential election.

 

On Friday a federal grand jury said Russia's military intelligence agency officers covertly monitored computers of Hillary Clinton's campaign and Democratic campaign committees, and stole large amounts of data.

 

"The stories you heard about the 12 Russians yesterday took place during the Obama Administration, not the Trump Administrations," Trump said on Twitter.

 

"Why didn’t they do something about it, especially when it was reported that President Obama was informed by the FBI in September, before the Election?"

 

"....Where is the DNC Server, and why didn’t the FBI take possession of it? Deep State?" Trump asked.

Well, you have to admit that Trump helps Putin very much.
The common goal of weakening Europe helps the two great world powers.

Trump probably makes a lot of money on the stock market over straw men who know his twitters before.

As a citizen of another country it's rather sad to see that the voters for the loosing candidate still can't get their heads around who the President of their great country is! No matter how often you tear up your nappies or spit out your dummies, like it or not, he's your President! You need to either suck it up or start the work to elect a better candidate. Who really gives a toss who manipulated who or what in an election that was held last year? Where was the protests when Bush stole the election from Gore?

Yes, he is the legal president.

That does NOT mean we have to support him or respect him.

He does not deserve any support or respect. That needs to be earned.

He was elected by a MINORITY vote and instead of working hard to unite the nation, he worked hard to DIVIDE it more, focusing ONLY on his rabid white nationalist base.

He threatens our American democracy. He does not believe in democracy. He admires the most disgusting DICTATORS and insults our natural democratic traditional ALLIES.

Correct. Trump has done alot to further the Putin cause. He is behaving as if he was made aware that Putin had a video with Trump having sex with multiple minors. One has to wonder. It is also just possible that he has an admiration and an envy of dictators who are worth twenty to a hundred times what he is worth. I do not buy his claims of his net worth. Many objective sources say between one and three billion, with nearly 700 million in debt. I think closer to one billion. Most informed sources say Putin is worth between $40 billion and $200 billion with no debt.

let me just say that trump blaming obama is just as bad as the democrats blaming mcconnell for refusing to issue a bipartisan statement 'warning' about possible interference (in the article it notes that senior democrat leaders did issue a 'warning').

 

it was obviously a unique situation for the leaders of the USA and i'd suggest they (both parties) didn't do a real good job managing the problem.  the russians accessed the DNC computers, released the info to wikileaks, meanwhile comey was struggling with his 'HRC email' thing.  all downhill from there.  both parties need to look in the mirror to see how this got screwed up, forget the blame game.

Been a tv clip on Fox recently showing Obama ridiculing Trump for warning that the election was being rigged. He was very adamant that the election couldn't be manipulated.

If you use the incognito window in chrome, or the NewinPrivate window in explorer, or PrivateWindo in Firefox, you can get into Washington Post without a problem. And it's perfectly legitimate. If they wanted to, they could close that way of gaining access as have other media sites.
