A government office for Thai people is being opened on the second floor of Market Village in downtown Hua Hin.

It is being hailed as making everyone smile because Thais can do their ID card and other government business there.

Local journalist Kulsawek Sawekwannakorn said that the new office would be open from August 1st.

He also confirmed in comments that the original office near the police station is still open for business.

Thais on Facebook praised the convenience of the new office.

For that they have a 'Mobile Passport Clinic' which comes to Hua Hin once every year.  This year it's 3rd to 10th September.

They are smiling because of the  available parking.

The basement food court will be happy at the prospect of hungry people  coming in.

Would it not  be nice if they made a "ONE STOP"  type of counter for those awful foreigners ? :whistling:

Enabling  90 day reporting, sojourn extensions, driving licence formalities or formalities to get a yellow book or a pink ID for farangs etc ? ... all under the same office ?.....(yes I know it's not yet Christmas ?)... and of course why make life easier for those awful farangs who pump our girls ? (but also do pump in lots of money)  :giggle:
