Hello,

I have Non-B visa but don't have work permit yet(Still waiting for work permit).

So, I'd like to make Thai motorbike and driver license. I'm okay with pay agency. I don't mind. I just want everything finish soon as possible. I found one agency, they told me "First I have to go immigration in my province(Or if they help me charge 500 Baht) then give to immigration 2 photos and get "Certificate of Residence". After that "Certificate of Healthy" then u can apply driver license." My questions;

1)As I told u; I have Non-B visa but don't have work permit yet. So I'm not sure about how to Thai government see my visa. As a still tourist visa or Non-B visa without work permit. Can I apply driver and motorbike license with that situation?

2)If yes, what kind of things I have to do after get certificate of residence and healthy?

3)Actually certificate of residence not take from embassy of homecountry?

Thank you!

Go to your nearest DLT office and ask them what they require from you to get issued with Thai DL's,  it's always better if you go with a Thai friend.

You are on a non immigrant visa entry not a tourist. Not having the work permit yet makes no difference in that respect.

But if you had a work permit you would not need a certificate of residency.

You could get one from immigration but it depends upon the office for where you are living. You could also get one at your embassy if they issue them.
