Ban Muang reported that the restaurant delivery service Food Panda were now operating in Hua Hin.

Earlier in the year they moved into Phuket. Their aim is to be the number one food delivery service in Thailand.

They deliver from many restaurants such as Bite, 31 Burger, Father Ted's Steakhouse and Cantina Mexican Restaurant as well as Thai restaurants.

Service is from 10am to 10pm and adds 40 baht to the bill for delivery.

I prefer to support Hua Hin Richest (https://www.huahinrichest.com/) because:

1. They are independent and locally run
2. They have a far wider selection of restaurants
3. If Food Panda is anything like as bad as it is in Bangkok, the reliability of HHR is 100x better.

Looking now at 2pm, FoodPanda offer delivery four restaurants (one of which is McDonalds), HHR offer delivery from eighteen. This is to a location around 8km from the clock tower, not a huge distance considering the spread of HH.

Hopefully they don't sell out to FP, or lose a battle on the basis of name recognition.

Have ordered a couple of times since they started up again here in Hua Hin and have been very pleased. Food arrived on time, hot and exactly as described.
