Although it is not that much significant, but "Suphan Buri" is the correct transcript.

The "Amphur" is an "English style" transcript.

The RTGS is based on latin languages with proper vovels/umlauts.

So "Amphoe" is also my vote.

Sam Chuk:

For an address on the envelope the "Chiang Wat" (Chang Wat) can be left out.

"Thailand" only if sent from abroad (in case of postal shipment).

You can also consider to use only capital letters, easier for most Thai people to read.

The correct postal code (72130) will make sure that it at least makes it to the Sam Chuk post office.

Thanks for the correction but I don't think that it matters to many people.
I came to the conclusion early on that phonetics was for linguists and would involve more study plus another keyboard so other than as a memory aid, I didn't bother with it.

With dozens of different transliteration/transcription/pronunciation systems used for the conversion of Thai script to Latin script, I sometimes wonder what system, if any, Thai postal employees are taught for the reverse conversion from Latin script to Thai script.

They don't need, to, if it's close enough then it's close enough,

Phattaya vs Pattaya they know it's พัทยา
