Where is the place that cost that little?

I am always quoted much, much more.

one of the things I cannot understand in Thailand is the insistance that they have to repaint the whole car or at least whole section of the car to fix a single scratch....with corresponding high price and many days wait, car-less.

In Cambodia they can repaint the area of a  scratch itself in a few hours time only, dirt cheap and perfect color match, looks like new. Here (or at least every place I have asked), they insist they cannot. ???

As a result I have over the years amassed a number of scratches (into the paint surface) scattered about the car here and there. I would love to get them painted but not at the 30,000 baht price/2 week timeframe that everyplace I have asked quotes me....

It's nothing peculiar to the color of my car, have had this experience for 3 successive cars over the years all of different colors.

For 30000 thb you can get a wrap, maybe better than getting a bad paint job.

I'll go and get T-Cut in the next few days, i hope it'll wipe it off without leaving any scars.

If you are worried just buy a polish that states on the can "will remove minor scratches"..Just spend some time on the dodgy area....

Wow, stick to Germalene for your scratches, your skin will not like paint shop stuff..

Don't forget to polish over where you have T-cutted.

(From one who has just spent 9 hours machine buffing and MER polishing a large black car [Rover 75] that had been left standing outside for 18 months in the UK. Paintwork was like sandpaper. Now you can throw a piece of rag on the bonnet and it will slide straight off. Used Farecla G3 Advanced Liquid Compound. T-cut is seen as rather old-fashioned these days & the ammonia smell from it stays on your hands for days).

It's good stuff, tends not to get rain run lines in it like some polishes do. I'd suggest doing it early morning out of the sun, half a panel at a time.

Used it for years, sadly they do not do the stuff in the blue can anymore, just the black can, which is great but not easy to polish off on "hot" panels as the blue stuff was..
