Gay men dont have sex with ladyboys, Gay men are not attracted to women or someone that presents as a woman. Ask any gay man.

Straight men have sex with ladyboys because they are basically attracted to women or someone that presents as a woman. (if it was just a matter of pursuing a penis, they would have sex with men)

Your logic would have it that a gay man who pretends to be straight, marries a woman and fathers children etc, must in fact be straight.

Yeah, if they are too curvy, I generally assume they might be ladyboys as most Thais (with exception of many up in Isaan) are straight, flat toothpick body and pancake breasted. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I've never seen even one stereotypically gay man with a ladyboy. I'm sure it happens but I call TOTAL B.S. on your claim. I think I know where you're coming from. I presume you immediately label ANY MAN with a ladyboy as being a gay man just because they are with a ladyboy. You're entitled to that opinion but I don't share it. Ask the ladyboys themselves who is attracted to them? They will tell you -- STRAIGHT MEN. Often, they are extremely hostile to gay men I'm not sure exactly why but perhaps because they know gay men are generally not tempted by them.

An alternative hypothesis is genetic modification by environmental factors. There is a village south of Lamphun where I am told over 60% of the population born male become ladyboys.

Possibly the low conversion rate to female genitalia is related to the fact suicide rates among the post-operatives are much higher.
