TOKYO — Junta leader Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha was drawing mixed reactions Friday after he told a Japanese audience at a conference in Tokyo to stand and stretch earlier this week.

While on an official trip to Japan as Prime Minister, Prayuth was given the opportunity to address local business leaders and journalists after lunch Wednesday in Tokyo. The premier – who assumed this role after leading the May 2014 coup – proceeded not with a speech but a “request.”

“You can’t really do this unless you are a retard,” Facebook user Khunpan Chulamalara wrote Friday.

That's so unfair. He's the smartest person they could find to lead the country, and he's doing the best he can.

Last year there was thai minister (was it?) who stole some paintings in the japanese hotel he stayed in...but he got caught by the camera's.....

And now this......????

“I think it’s creative,” Twitter user @tigeryellowlive wrote Friday, adding that he found this better than being under the Yingluck Shinawatra administration and that foreigners are invited to hear Thais criticizing their own country.

For somebody to do what he did, it only shows there is far too little criticism in the country.  He feels like he can do no wrong.  Yingluck actual was and is a positive roll model for the country in spite of breaking the law.   This man is a disaster and some Thais want more of him. Can only commend those who are outraged.  Maybe next time he will bring a hoola hoop to an important forum.

“I like it. This helps the world understand what Thais are facing,” Twitter user @Mo_Lersphong wrote Friday.

Yes, and there is one poster Khun Mo who understands that it does not bode well......

the world is sill unsure whether to cry or laugh...

Maybe it was one of the usual misunderstandings after someone said:

"we got a problem here, bring in the stretcher!"

Next time he was in big in Japan they'd be getting his version of the Haka ..

Not surprised. Much in line with all his mental challenging antics like talking to frog, asking journalists to talk to his cardboard cut-out, fondling the ears of a sound recordist, throwing banana peel and much much more. He just bringing his antics to a new international level. Someone got to help this guy mental challenges.

Why do you think "they" picked him ?  What is worse is having to listen to intelligent, wealthy people praise him, because they have to if they want to be on the inside.  He has taken Thailand to an angrier, dumber level in the interest of security.  This is the price you pay for peace at any price.

Embarrassing Dick Head

Right, so P was playing the role of the factory foreman leading the morning exercises. I'm sure the audience fully appreciated them playing the role of the underlings.

Yet, I'm sure that he and his close circle consider themselves to be quite sophisticated within the spheres of social/political worldliness.

Not recognizing their delusions.

Telltale signs of unravelling.

This is clearly a case of what happens when you fail to incorporate network security into your Thailand 4.0 IOT device ????

Seriously, so what. Got him broadcast around the world and got some people of them bums and awake to listen to what he had to say. See nothing wrong with it and have been at presentations where other people have used the same technique.
