Good morning.

There is a new road just south of Nakhon Ratchasima, running east to west(ish), the flyover crossing the 2310 just near the horrid Goldenland Resort.

Where does it join what at each end and what is it’s main purpose?

thanks

Haven't been that way for a bit but I thought maybe it was a rail link?

In Europe they proudly display signs telling you what is going on and who is "paying' for it. I often wonder why obviously huge building projects get started and you often only find out what is happening a month before opening day, if that.

There are new roads, u turn bridges and underpasses appearing all over the place, I believe they are all part of the new Bangkok to Korat motorway plans. I’m sure it will all make sense in a couple of years time.

I saw what you're describig about a year ago. Wasn't sure if it was a new motorway or the high speed rail link. Google Earth is too old to say but I thnink there are a couple of other sections near Saraburi which looked similar.

Sounds like the under development project "M6 tollway"?

Under construction since two years or so.

It’s a bit too far south for the M6 project KB, running about 15 km south of Korat.

It MIGHT tack onto that excellent by-pass from the 224 (near Makro and Do-Home) to the highway 2 further north
