This is absolutely revolutionary! I'm off to the patent office as I've just taped a hand torch on my bike, and called it 'a bicycle light' .

Looks like Prayut invented it in his spare time.

Have they invented the helmet yet?

Will anyone actually USE it..................or worse still, turn it OFF after the turn?

Ssshh! That's next week - no one in Thailand knows about them yet.

Decades ago, a friend bought a state-of-the-art Yamaha motorbike. I always remember one of the features was self-cancelling indicators. The unit counted 120 revolutions of the front wheel and then switched the indicators off.

I bought one from Lazada 2 years ago , maybe I can pretend I made it and claim the patent ?

They are behind the curve with this already .. Latest fashion in the cycling fraternity is indicators in yer helmet not to mention tail lights and answering the phone ..

I can guess the outcome of that football match: Thai - 1 Ferang - 0

Pity they couldn't invent something that keeps the riders in single file at the side of the road instead of walloping about all over the place!

One caveat though. It looks like "Livall" on the side of the helmet (a play on words - Live All?)

If so, I bet further round it could well say "Thailand not included", just the same as when buying a remote control it probably says "Batteries not included"

Talk about disconnected.  I guess they never left the village~I say it's high time

Its amazing how Thais keep inventing things that have been around for decades!

All over the world many just don't use blinkers on their vehicles so unless they can make money with it every time they use them it is a waist of time and money

problem is that thais dont use turn signals in the cars or motorbikes now, do these people really expect bicycle riders to use what other road users dont.....

These have been around for as long as I have and probably longer ... they are called a right and left arm.

The local one beats that hands down.  Only one revolution of a wheel and it switches  off  the frontal lobe!

Next major advancement for bicycles: Mirrors!

Re inventing the wheel. Turn signal lights for bikes have been around for sometime.  https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bicycle-Bike-Rear-LED-Tail-Light-Wireless-USB-Remote-Control-Turn-Signals-laser-/153208210136

We built our own turn signals for pushbikes in the late fifties/early sixties. We used a three position switch from some toy, wiring used in connection with blasting and one or two 4.5V batteries. Worked a treat.

I would be impressed if they could teach them how to drive, never mind a device they will NEVER use
