You probably mean if you can enter the air base and take photos?

I doubt they will officially allow you to do this.

If you enter the air base with a friend who is in the army you can most likely take pictures, but it might of course happen that somebody will tell you to stop doing so.

If you show up alone at the air base you will most likely not be allowed to enter.

My experience with the army base in Udon if i arrive alone at the gate:

They ask me what i'm doing, i tell them picking up my GF, and the standard procedure is that they want to talk with her on the phone, ask for name, rank and so on and who i am. Sometimes they want to keep my passport, sometimes write down the details, sometimes they don't care about my passport.

On one occassion i was let in just after telling them that i pick up my GF, but at this day they had a big party there, so probably quite a few "externals". On another day it was the contrary, they insisted on keeping my passport and one military police guy was assigned to be my personal escort and to follow me arround ????

The Korat airbase (Wing 1) is a closed base. Even if you knew someone who had access and got you in I really doubt you could take photos on the flight line.

Well you might get a photo from the beginning of the runway off of Sueb Siri Rd. Just google Tiger Golf Course Korat and you will see a map. The golf course is just south of the runway. I can see them taking off from the fairway on hole #3 but there is a row of trees between the fairway and the runway so you get to see them as they get above tree level. Not much flying there except old F-16s. Usually some taking off between 8am and 9am.
