Local journalist Kulsawek Sawekwannakorn reported on Facebook that two elephants caused a Sunday morning tailback as they squared up on the Phusai - Sai-En Road (KM marker 21) in Hua Sat Yai sub-district of Hua Hin.

Traffic was stopped for 20 minutes as Bunchuay and Bunmee charged at each other.

Park officials and soldiers manager to resolve the situation.

People can be heard on the video saying that the elephants are in musth and drivers would just have to wait it out.

Musth is when bull elephants experience high testosterone levels and exhibit aggressive behavior.

They should have thrown a bucket of water over them

I didn't see much charging occurring.

No wonder the cow lost interest with all that sh*t lying around.

Much better than kids getting hurt doing Thai wrestling.

Beautiful creatures, just don't get in the way of 2 guys fighting over a girl.
