What snake is this?

Featured Replies

Saw a snake on top of my car today and managed to get a photo. Can someone identify it for me please. My guess is Golden Tree Snake.

That one looks like a keelback, ifI am right also harmless.

The go to fb page for snake id is "snakes of chiang mai"

Pretty much everyone who lives here is a member of that group and its surprising how quickly you start to learn about the different species.

And to prove me right please someone agree with my i.d.  haha

I love snakes and don't find them dangerous or aggressive at all.  We share the same space and can easily find the middle ground.  No need for shovels and dismemberment particularly as another one will be along shortly.

Don't be scared and all will be well.

It looks like a large dent in the car roof to me????

I find the dangerous snakes to be dangerous, and the harmless snakes to be harmless.

There really isn't any middle ground.

The OP's photos are of harmless snakes.

Sheer panic always involves a fight.  I don't panic and have never had a fight.

Do what you need to do as I won't argue with you.
