  • Maybe they should add some more ads to pay for faster servers

  • So slow and sporadic I give up. Since Nation took over TV has become less user friendly and full of ads. Looking for a better site for Thailand visa info and news.

  • Yep, looks like I will be mowing the lawn today...????   I now refer to the mower as Error 520...????

I think we can keep this thread open for a while.

Slower to load, but no 520 errors yet so that's always good news....

Sorry to say last few days very slow and clunky

no errors but site has slowed down dramatically

  • 2 weeks later...

Ahem... it's ok if you debug the site, but you've managed to leave a debug bit on and I can see all the sql queries in the debug pane on the right side right on this production site. Here's a hint, use the javascript console so normal mortals can't see the log even if you forget a bit on..

Gone now, but I saved the queries because I'm an evil, evil man and will check just how many tables are they joining and what is the likely cause they had to turn off the automatic notification subscriptions. Although I can already guess, the MySQL db (Yes I saw another error before that revealed the db ..tsssk, tsssk) just couldn't handle it.

But hey, we're all ibf_core_members, neat eh?

It's back but I'm reading it in Europe

lucky you.... I am having exactly the same problems as we had a month or so ago, sluggish, pages not loading, notifications taking long time to show....maybe and again maybe, too many advertise/pop ups

I have never received this error before.  "Too many connections" is a new one for me.

Can’t log in on Connect app since last night, Tapatalk just shows an error.

On via Thaivisa.com now, not ideal for browsing on a phone, although does load quite quickly.

I had the same this morning

Well it was fun while it lasted.  Seem to be working now though.

I would not be surprised if the unscheduled maintenance was due to the events of this morning. Big enough nightmare for the mods.

Nor can I.  I can logout and log back on via desktop computer (did that test a minute ago).  But can not logon using the ThaiVisa app.  Just says network error---try again later.

Copy & paste pics into a post doesn't seem to work.

This keeps on happening:

"My SQL server has gone away"

Couldn't get on for 10 minutes.

Have tried clearing the app's cache....didn't help.  Have tried clearing the app's data...didn't help.  Have now uninstalled and reinstalled app....didn't help.  Always get "Network Error -- Please Try Again Later (login)."

But I can log out and back in no problem using my desktop browser.   Summary: mobile app ain't working properly.
