Brexit turmoil hits the pound

??? I thought the "hold up" was trying to avoid a "hard border" between Northern and Southern Ireland. That is a really difficult hurdle to overcome

Shockingly awful post.

Just wait to see what's round the corner.

Just give the war a miss, everyone else is over it.

I'd say it's right on the nail. Ungrateful goits.

We should just walk away. No deal, no payment .... nothing. Two world wars & the Germans are dictating to the other members within the EU, with support (surprise, surprise) from France who we liberated from their clutches!

Lest we forget ............. our fallen must be turning in their graves. They owe us & they should be paying back all that money we borrowed during these wars & after, plus all the millions we spent helping europe to rebuild. We were broke then & no one helped us ....... I'd let them rot personally. Their treatment of the UK is shameful ...... fact.

Appalling bigoted garbage.

The war was years ago. Let it go.

Shame on you. Without EU UK would not have performed up to now. Good thing: in a few years people with your mind won't be seen anymore just by going the way of nature. With people like you it's not possible to build a society of peace, freedom, democracy and respect

Nurse, nurse,

Nobody more bigoted than those clowns in Brussels!

You talk about the war was years ago, now let it go?

Was it only this week that Macron with the agreement of Merkel was promoting a formidable EU Army to be organized and militarized?

It certainly wasn't the U.K. promoting this.

Some deluded posts here , Brexit was always going to be tough , Farage knew that full well which is why he ran away so fast.

T May had an impossible task and for all the criticism I am yet to see a better plan from anybody else.

Boris , Rees - Mogg and co talk about just leaving with no deal.

Well they are wealthy enough not to worry about GDP and Sterling falling off a cliff , hope their supporters on this thread are similarly loaded.

Incidently there is now every chance that the government will fall and Corbyn will end up @ number 10.

Sterling will then really hit rock bottom , the UK will have 5 years of utter financial mismanagement and we will still not have the Brexit that Boris desired....good work !!!

Trend is weakening. Deal or no deal

Not so...the trend is only weakening in the context of Brexit, pre-vote the trend was very different.

The people voted Leave, the govt failed to deliver on account of the PM and most of the cabinet being Remainers. No lies involved, the people made up their own minds.

The two Brexit secretaries are arch Brexiteers, and both of them failed to deliver, because the promises made in 2016 could never be delivered. They quit and are now trying to distance themselves from the smell of their own shit.
