Highway 101

Hey guys, just came back from a road trip to Sukothai from Chiang Mai and back. For those who will be making trips up north this winter and wondering about a route to take, I must say the 101 from Si Chanalai just north of Sukothai is in very good shape. I have to give it a 9 out of 10 with some sections a 10 as it looks like they were recently resurfaced. The worse part of the road is some delamination of the last layer put on is coming lose from the previous layer but this isn't a real safety issue. Very little traffic when we where on the road until we got to about 20k of the Din Chai turnoff. There is not a lot of local traffic as the few moo bans are few and far between until again getting close to Din Chai turn off on the 11 highway.
