HD Khon Kaen a missed opportunity

A couple of years ago HD built a great showroom on the main Kalasin road, 5km from on the city centre, it had a big frontage and I spoke to them suggesting an "Ace Cafe" style coffee shop at the front. "Yes, we will have it ready next year."

 

Well, just seen what they built and it is tiny bog standard coffee shop, with no presence at all, this could have been a Mecca of bikers and helped their business a lot. They spend zillions on the showroom and 10 baht of the "Ace Cafe".

 

That's Thailand, they don't want to do anything special...just the same as next door.

 

It would be nice to have a bikers place to hang out, but no.

The original style "Ace Cafe" wouldn't go down well me's thinks, they sold tea in a tin mugs, the spoons were on a chain, the tables and chairs were bolted to the floor, fights broke out often.
