Before I give up and look on Lazada, was wondering if there are any other options besides Supersports @ Central to buy football (soccer boots)?

Had a look in Decathlon in bkk, but I don't really trust the 'no name' brands which they have there.

Sliding around in trainers is no fun!

Please post if you find ANY FOOTWARE larger than 46 at sensible prices on the island, even if they're bright pink & covered in morris bells! ????

If you are after flip flops I know that Havaiannas in Central had a batch of 45-46 come in... but there aren't many.

Or if you are after over 46, maybe that doesn't help.

FYI: My son recently purchased a pair of size 47 footy boots on Lazada for 1700 baht. They're not particularly wide but he isn't complaining.

Thanks, yeah that's the kind of price range I saw. Will compare to what I can see in the shops... or 'shop'.

Bottom floor BigC.

Not really, according to my expert daughter, it's Supersports in Central; and there might be some in specialist stores, for example in "Outlet Village" in Chaweng (Google map)...????

Thanks, but I can't see the Outlet Village you mentioned on the map....

For the past 10 years or so I've been purchasing my Football boots online in the UK and either collecting them on one of my Bi-anual visits or having my parents take off all the labels and post them over (labels removed and grub them up a little so they don't incur tax if they are flagged by customs).

Thus: The best recommendation I can offer is: Order from a Website such as prosoccerdirect.com, have them sent to your parents or friends who can post them over, or to a friend who can carry them back to Thailand for you if you are not traveling soon.

I've purchased football boots every year this way... Every year because after a year they just stink so badly even after regular washing !!...  They are usually delivered in the UK in 2-3 days after ordering and depending on what post they take about 10-14 days to get to Thailand.
