The old tough love angle methinks....time will tell if it works!

Sounded a bit OTT to me. Declaring you didn’t have a midfield and naming and shaming. Depends on his character I guess but I would imagine the last thing he wants to hear if he is already struggling to settle. Kill or cure.

Agree with that for sure. Sadly some players may sulk for months if on the receiving end.  Only he can gauge what’s going on in the dressing room. Maybe the other players are fed up with him. Maybe not only about his performance.

I can't think of ANY benefit of a manager naming and shaming one of his players in public - keep it in-house, surely!

yeah , 'as it was ' ,,,,, was that muri's first half tactics were poor, when he readjusted the numbers pushing dier into midfeild we had a platform to make runs, which a refreshed celso and lucus took advantage of,, muri was busy blaming others when it was HIS misjudgement that caused the issue..

ndembele is a quality footballer,, against norwich he shone  and he will do again, he came from a weaker league where physicality is a distant third to touch and tactics, some can adjust quickly, but his style where he holds and runs is hard and it WILL take a time to adjust..

oh as for burnleys goal, just to say they on the balance of play  deserved their lead,   however DId  the law not change this year saying that ANY ball TOUCHING the hand, be it by chance or whatever in the build up to a goal would be ruled as  HANDBALL,, it touched the burnley players hand b4 for the cross that led to the goal,, when tha f[[[[[ c did the law change back again,, really var and its decision making    going from bad to worse they've reduced refs credibilty an... its turning into a farse.

A farce is right rij...and not sure on Ndombele either....but for sure he has the ability....just needs to work harder at his game.

his 'games ' fine ronnie , just at the mo after an on off start thru injury ect ect he's having problems adjusting to the physicality, playing that style where he brushes of challenges atm twice a week is to much for him to handle, but he's got a decent frame on him, he'll adjust.

every company  has a managing director and  chairman and directors   that includes Chelsea .and it isnt Abramovich..  go look it up.  he can own    but as he   hasn't  got a uk visa atm it'll be very difficult to run the club if he hadn't a structure in place ..     just a point of interest following  on what owl sees all said about the pitch.. I believe bates still owns a massive penthouse apartment that sits on top of one end of the ground and he wont sell , which apparently is the major reason the bridge hasn't been re developed,   so Abramovich owns the chavs but neither runs it nor owns  the ground in entirety..tho not the owner .bates still effectively pulls a romans strings.

. quite funny really..

Obviously your manager doesn’t agree. Ndembele Subbed at half time and publicly humiliated. Hinting that he may not play him again.

I dont know if you saw the game I was referring to.  v Norwich... but in that he played really well hence the start v Burnley  in front of celso.. I believe this was his  first bac to bac starts this season, could be wrong on that tho.. ..imo .mori misjudged Burnleys formation   he was  outnumbered  in midfield and given Burnleys physicality  and  that  he was partnered next to a 19 year old that hasn't really featured this season.. . it ain't really a surprise he struggled..  will he come bac?.as mori said he ain't the first talented footballer to struggle to adapt .but   atm is struggling with the physical side of the prem.. arguably the easier of the hurdles to overcome.. so yeah I'm sure he will ... that and 65 mil says he wont be allowed to fail totally.. bit like our chump head lamela.. if he was a free transfer I reckon he'd be gone by now  but we paid large for him..the

The cross didn't directly create the goal as Toby headed the cross clear. Different phase began when the shot came in.....at least that's how the refs see it.

if it got hoofed outside the box and the move broken and a couple of pass's  outside the box   ect ect  ,,, then yeah i can see that ,  then its clearly a new phase,  but it didnt, the ball wasnt cleared anywhere nearly 'properly'  and the cross was the ESSENTIAL  thing that started the move for the goal,,,  to me it sort of goas , cross, scuffed attempted clearance still in the box , shot banged in and keeper saves and misjudged the bounce of the ball and then a scrambled goal  so,,,  all in the same move.  tbh i cant see how it can be veiwed as not one move.    the fa/prem lge  with the way they've implemted and managed the application of var and the 'new rules' is just gross incompetance,

cos its footie they seem to think they have an opened ended remit to <deleted>££££  up and not be held  in anyway accountable, if it were in real life ie the business world,, heads would role and law suits would probably follow,, the media aint helping the situ they were the ones that pushed for this cluster <deleted>,, now theyre sniffing its pants and people are <deleted> hearing about it, they've backed off where they should be the leaders in setting things straight and in backing off  have created a space that footies powers to be remain untouched and uneffected ,,,it feels like were dealing with the same level of igorance/mentality  i encountered as  a kid watching live footie  in the 60's and 70's, where the fans were treated like dog <deleted>  and we all know how that ended up,    anyways ,,,rant over ????

 what's done is done,,

need some Huge performances tonight, the intensity and the skill which Leipzig played  with  at ours , i aint particulary optimistic, however we live in hope, beefy out injured for the rest of the season is a blow ,, but honestly it doesnt surprise me , i think we over used him, his game had dropped of dramatically ,, hardly unexpected given where he came from and the type of intensity the prem plays  at , he needed to be used a touch more sparingly, given diferent circumstances i've no doubt he would have been ,,,,,, but it is what it is ...

yeah,, tbh honest I'm surprised theres been nothing said as yet, but i suppose it'll take its due coarse,, ameeting to decide on the exact charges then they'll be a hearing ,, not sure what he'll be charged with,, bringing the game into dierepute ,, un becoming behaviour? ,, but i'll be v surprised  if its not  a lengthy ban , how long  ,not sure , ide go,,, somewhere between 3 and 6 mnths ?  or mayeb  9-15 games ? not sure
