I was reading this article in the Pattaya papers today

It seems to suggest that they are still planning to carve a new province out of Cha am, Hua Hin and Pranburi

I thought this idea had been killed after the coup

Does anyone know if it's still in the works?

That article in Pattaya Today is the glowingest description of how to turn Hua Hin into Pattaya....no, thanks.

I've heard that the idea which was pushed forward by the Thaksin administration has fallen in a bit of disfavor given the self-elected leadership now sheparding the country.
