Thailand just has too many useless laws, government officials, scammers, drug business owners, useless police, etc. What is left out?

Give the stupid red trucks a break.  They need the occasional rip-off to get the cash necessary to pay off the DLT inspectors so they can continue operating stinking smoking piles of rolling crap so they can feed their offspring.  So what if they're more carcinogenic than chain smoking and ruining the environment and eventually killing off tourism and driving the economy to ruin.  You got to get yours while you can.  Sheesh... Give the poor mafia a break.

Try to get a red truck at Chang Phueak market corner in front of 7-11 to Doi Sutthep. Talk about fleecing and mafia tactics. Especially the Thai Guy with the white hair who is the ring leader. He could use a good punch in the mouth.

At least we have RTC buses this year but the area covered of RTC buses is limited.

I often see Chinese tourists being fleeced in front of Kad Suan Kaew by both the red buses and the Tuk-tuk.

Spot on, it’s what called agreeing on a price..most prefer to winge it seems but after the event
