Police look for Pattaya Beach ‘troublemaker’

PATTAYA:--A beach mat vendor with a bad reputation is running from police after allegedly attacking another man at random on Pattaya Beach.

Chaichana Chemjantuk came to police with a bloody face Jan. 9, claiming he had been minding his own business while drinking on the beach when a local troublemaker smashed him in the head with a piece of wood.

The incident began when the beach mat vendor, known around the beach as Tom, approached Chaichana and, according to the victim, picked a fight. Chaichana didn’t bite and got Tom to leave. But he returned shortly later with the wood and assaulted Chaichana.

Police planned to check CCTVs in the area to locate the mad vendor.

It must have been a surprise for Tom in the dark to find a handy bit of driftwood and not something much softer ????

I'm sure there is more to this story than we are getting out of the victim's side of the story.  The victim does not exactly look like a "good guy".

That white picket fence surrounding those flowers looks beautiful.

A direct contrast to the bashing victim in the foreground.

This sort of attack should not happen in a World class family

resort like Pattaya, TAT will be very upset

A perfectly normal day in Pattaya no surprises here.
