Our son's Thai passport has required and I was wondering is it necessary for him to attend in person or can we go with his expired passport and photos?

Secondly are there any requirements apart from the expired photos and new passport?

Thanks in advance.

As far as I can remember it would be necessary for him to attend because they take the actual photos at the passport office.

Maybe someone can elaborate if my memory on that is incorrect.

Save the photos, no way. Always taken at the office (same like ID card).

Easiest case is legal mother and father accompany him.

If he is minor (<20 yr) he can only get a PP with consent of the parents (legal guardian).

His valid Thai ID card is all that is needed.

And some cash (1000?).
