February 4, 20197 yr Popular Post im on ko tao now. been coming here for 15 years. this year i notice the oil on beach and in water . and the garbage in the sea to be too much ..........im betting to worry about ear infections as i see tiny microns of plastic in the sea. im seeing fish eat these tiny bits of plastic. and i ask myself where is this garbage and oil coming from?????? ive concluded its the fishing boats in the hundreds off the coastline. do the boats have any oversight at all? do they change their oil at sea and just dump it in the ocean? the oil is coming from somewheres. and what about the garbage in the sea that is ruining the coastline? also coming from fishing boats i conclude they just heave their trash into the sea. they dont care they just want to rape the sea of the creatures to make money so we can eat seafood. so my conclusion is that i will not eat sea creatures. and i suggest you do this as well. if we all do it. the fisherman will need a new career and the sea might have a chance for survival
February 4, 20197 yr Author all the fish eating these tiny bits of plastic.. what that means is we are eating it too. we are all interconnected
February 4, 20197 yr I do not eat sea creatures either...but seafoods...that's another story...love fish and shrimp! Have yet to find any plastic...????

February 4, 20197 yr Popular Post Even if we all stopped eating sea animals, the fisheries would still keep harvesting the sea and using the fish for farm animal feed, fertilizer, Chinese medicine, clothing and other stuff. The sea life wont recover as we will keep dumping plastic, sewerage, chemicals, oil into the ocean even if we don't eat the fish. In fact not eating the fish might be the worst thing we could do... as there would then be zero incentive to try to clean up the oceans and make the seafood safe! Sad 'fact' is the sea and land are going to get more and more polluted and abused until there is little left, and pollution will destroy the environment. Most of the human species is content to live in filth and pollution... just look at parts of India, China, and even the west. Even with peoples health affected, people dying from pollutants etc noting is done. Our species will destroy our own home and ourselves... heck we can't even stop having wars and killing each other over made up religions and superstitions. The few humans with intelligence, conscience and morals are sadly vastly outnumbered by the majority of lazy, stupid and selfish people.
February 4, 20197 yr Garbage., dust, smog, particle, micro particle. Nano particle, pollution... all is in the air that you aspire at every moments of your days, include inhaling at same time while you eat vegetarian food..., so why so worry about a single and poor fish? [emoji40]I should be a little more worry about another animal like AEDES mosquito.
February 4, 20197 yr Popular Post I suggest you stop flying all the way to thailand, do you realize how much fuel you burned by doing so? And then you went to an island by speedboat, an island that's getting very overcrowded from all the tourists flocking there. And how about your drinking water?? From a plastic bottle all day long??

February 5, 20197 yr Popular Post 9 hours ago, yogavnture said: im vegetarian. so i dont eat steak. i havent eaten from a cow in 15 years. Humans are omnivorous. Check your teeth out, they're designed to eat meat and vegetables, it's called a balanced. diet. Being a vegetarian or, worse still, a vegan, is wholly unnatural. You're going against nature and your health will suffer for it. Go out and treat yourself to a nice Australian beef steak, free from preservatives and hormones. You know it makes sense. BTW. Vegetables, in Thailand, are renowned for being drenched in pesticides banned in the West. Probably the unhealthiest thing that you could eat here. Most seafood sold in Thailand is farmed, never been near a plastic filled ocean. I personally find the quality and taste poor, vastly inferior to seafood caught in the North Atlantic, which is why I rarely eat seafood here.

I eat a Ketogenic diet because I have serious health repercussions if I eat too many carbohydrates. High carbohydrate intake can lead to obesity and possibly diabetes. I suggest you do the same. See how arrogant that sounds?

Had a roast lamb Sunday lunch, here in Pattaya, a couple of weeks ago. Slightly more expensive than the roast beef, but with real mint sauce and gravy, it was heaven on a plate.

I have been known to fall asleep eating a kebab on a Saturday night, in the UK. Does that count as "unconscious consumption"?
