Show ID to Top up a BTS Rabbit Card

Featured Replies

As of a few days ago, if you want to top up your rabbit card at one of the BTS stations...you must show ID.

Not sure why.....

But at Asoke during lunch time today....the line for the windows...2 on each side of the entrance...were backed up half way to to Terminal 21 entrances.

Maybe it's a new way to protect the tourist???????

Went to Chong nonsi yesterday evening when there were not too many people around and they topped up my card without asking me for a passport. I had to ask them if i need to register. After some initial confusion, they asked for my passport. took about 5 minutes in all. ????
