No, lets get back to why you had a mad rant about Farage. Did I say anything about him?

I mentioned Tommy Islam because the lad in question is a member of UKIP. Farage allegedly resigned from UKIP because the likes of Tommy Islam were allowed to join. It's commonly accepted that a lot of new, young members have recently joined, specifically because of their adulation for Tommy Islam.

Tommy Islam, a.k.a. Steven Yaxley-Lennon, has a string of criminal convictions from beating up his girlfriend in the street, (for which he was jailed) assaulting a policeman who tried to stop him and football violence convictions. He's a violent little thug with a big mouth and a small brain who makes his living by spouting racial hatred on the internet.

No, someone mentioned Ferage and then you then mentioned Tommy and I mistakenly assumed that Tommy was the person in question .

Now , *15 British Ministers may vote to stop UK leaving the E.U.*

Tommy & Ferage are not included in that group of Politicians , so, lets get back on topic

You live in South-East London, south of the River? Oh dear.

You appear to be surprised and possibly disappointed.

There are around 1.9 million people in SE London and at least 18 million who live South of the Thamres if that's the river you're referring to.

A ranting diatribe was not described, except by you. Just your read on it with the usual added twist. He wasn't at UCL anyway but that is irrelevant to the point that only some points of view seem to be allowed these days.

"The University of Central Lancashire, in Preston, sanctioned him after receiving multiple complaints about “offensive and inappropriate comments” in lectures and seminars."

UCL = University of Central Lancashire. If you want to exchange "ranting diatribe" for "offensive and inappropriate comments" up to you.

The only points of view that aren't allowed these days are "race hate speech", or would you allow that too?

When you hear someone make these comments in public, you wonder what other opinions they have that they don't make public?

When Hitler rose to power he was voted in, he won the popular vote. He didn't declare that should you vote for him he'll get rid of his political opponents and never allow another vote, nor did he say that he would exterminate every Jewish person he could get his hands on. That came later.

The next war in this world will involve nuclear weapons, I'm hoping not to be alive to see it as millions will die and the survivors will depend on the kindness of strangers from other countries, as their countries will be a wasteland. If everybody views the world like Sebastian no one will help them ... perhaps Sebastian might find that he's one of them? I wonder how strong his conviction will be then?

You should write a book. A WW3 and Physco mix. Fiction of course.

A student who feels that halah meat , the process of killing animals by slitting their throat and letting them bleed to death without stunning them first , is inhumane and he gets banned from Uni for saying that .

So, students who want to study at that Uni must not disagree with the process of halal meat or if they do, keep quiet about it

Exactly. So much for the animal welfare proponents!

Well if you really believe him when he claims that that is all he said, then you're even more naïve than I thought. Either that or you are trying to justify your agenda.

I thought you were going back on topic, too difficult for you?

The student is not studying engineering. He is studying Social Work Studies maybe/probably with some vocational aspect and that requires aspects of diversity appreciation/understanding. Sounds like an aspirant political stunt artist. University of Central Lancashire. The last thing the Social Work profession needs is some extreme right-wing nutter pushing his luck. If he wants to try that on, then study something else, somewhere else.

How on earth and in what way is he an "extreme right-wing nutter"?

I am willing to listen, do state what else he said to get himself banned from Uni ?

How about stop calling me naive and suggesting that I have an agenda and just tell me what he said to warrant getting a ban from Uni and then I can decide whether I feel that a ban was appropriate or not

Clearly, from the statement by the university, who I would definitely believe over him, it was more than a discussion about halal meat in the refectory. "multiple complaints about “offensive and inappropriate comments” in lectures and seminars."

As I've previously said, this university wouldn't suspend him for having one heated discussion in the refectory.

UCL stands for University College London, it really does. UCLan is your Lancashire school.

The two words in question "ranting" and "diatribe" were first used by you in this substring.

We don't have a transcript of the conversation so it is not known if hate speech was involved. But you prefer not to give any benefit of doubt.

UKIP has changed in both it's demography and political aims. It can now be regarded as an extreme right wing organisation, particularly as former National Front members have infiltrated it's executive. Similar to Labour and Momentum, who have taken Labour to the hard left.

The lad is a member of UKIP and was sanctioned for "multiple complaints about “offensive and inappropriate comments” in lectures and seminars."

Extreme right wing nutter seems to fit the bill.

SInce when was killing animals ever “humane”? In abbotoirs up and down the country livestock is being lined up and slaughtered on an industrial scale.

Little bigot Sebastian is simply creating a “straw man” ... halal slaughtering is unacceptable to him because it is practiced by people who are unacceptable to him ... Muslims. Straight out of the Tommy Islam handbook. He cares about the animals, or the kids that get abused ... but really he doesn’t ... it’s just a convenient story that gives plausible deniability to his underlying objective ... the demonisation of Muslims. If Muslims weren’t involved in halal, he wouldn’t give a toss about it.

Just because someone who might be an extreme left wing nutter labels him an extreme right wing nutter it means no more than it would do if the accusation was reversed.

I originally referred to the uni by it's full name but subsequently referred to it as UCL as a convenient, clear abbreviation. You are correct in that UClan is the official abbreviation, just as UCum is the abbreviation for the university a bit further up the M6., the butt of many jokes locally.

I suppose common sense will prevail at the end, a thing we British are known for. This little excursion into extremist politics will be forgotten, along with the politicians that fostered it.

Which extreme left wing nutter are you referring to? I really don't think that @SheungWan fits the bill. As for me, I'm old Labour mate, nothing extreme about me.

Slaughter according to the halal method is more likely to bring about unnecessary pain or distress to the animal. Your read on Sebastian's reason for speaking out about this is unsubstantiated and complete guesswork. Then you add in Robinson again for extra zing! Your conjecture and fantasies are typically expected, wrong and boring.

Well why voice an opinion then?
