Like many others you have little experience of living in the culturally enriched environment that London now embraces. It reveals how little you know of the problems we now face. I was born there.

In spite of being accused of being a racist I have known two black mothers of those involved in fatal knife attacks and a couple of victims and perpetrators of such attacks. My son knew one victim, the 39 year old decorator who got his throat cut for refusing to give a junkie a cigarette in SE London a couple of weeks back. He was a grafter who had never been in trouble and probably never had a fight in his life.

I knew another who served 13 years for manslaughter who stabbed two other blacks to death when they attacked him with machetes. He's a pleasant enough fellow who just struck first when he knew he was in danger.

It's just part of their way of life wherever they live. It may be in their genes or their DNA but it's definitely in their systems somewhere. They are the same in the USA while Johannesburg has among the highest murder rates in the world.

I knew a black lady who just despaired at what her people were like in spite of readily acknowledging they were inclined to violence and murder.

Last night according to the news on LBC there was one shooting and several stabbings in London although I did not pay enough attention to hear if any were fatal. No one bats an eye any more and these incidents are now an every day occurrence in crime ridden London.

That's without the Islamic problems where their radicals target us white Londoners and Mancunians.

Merkel's inviting millions of potential criminals and terrorists into Europe and eventually and inevitably the UK was the final straw that made the British working people who have to live among these undesirables vote to get out of Europe.

You don't understand these sentiments because you don't live in the culturally enriched areas of the UK. Our kids can't even ride push bikes about in many areas without having black bullies blatantly push them off the bikes and steal them.

Rather than try to understand how it affects us it's much easier to accuse people of racism if they as much as mention it. But throwing the R word about no longer cuts the mustard where those who live in such areas are concerned.

You live in South-East London, south of the River? Oh dear.

So then, leftists and Blacks cannot be Englishmen. Great example of Brexiteer IQ.

Hmm, Brexiteer?

Firstly apologies I realise that now.

Secondly it's naive to think you cannot get a gun in UK it's quite easy you just need money.

You can't blame brexit and the subsequent mess made by the politicians on the giving of degrees at university. The subject is a much wider topic that needs its own thread in my opinion.

totally agree with you, cannot do that

but your serious challenge is the underlying conservatism and your unwillingness to adapt

to modern times

and there are some historic pearls in CPH not far away from that torv you mentioned

Back before EEC and EU when UK still ruled a couple of waves on oceans here and there

UK was deeply engaged in the far east trade,

so was Denmark

But, the warehouses and the packhouses used by the Danish far east trade

are still there, intact, exemplary maintained and refurbished, today managed by the

Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs

and the supervisor/control/shipmaster/boss building is still there- where they spotted the full riggers

coming up to central Copenhagen (today the MFA Protocol Department)

Fantastic history stuff - also covering similar to UK far east trade.

bland? no!

With a comment like that you would do well in the fascist organisation too.

So he disagrees with halal meat. He is a Nazi?

He thinks immigrants shouldn't be given free health care? He is a Nazi?

He is against the Islamification of the UK. So he is a Nazi again?

Definition of bigot: a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.

Do you see the irony!

Oh bless.

Sebastian Walsh is a bigot, get over it.

The university have a duty to provide a safe none threatening environment for all students and staff, get over it.

The university has a right to expel students who do not meet the university’s standards of behavior, get over it.

The university are giving Sebastian Walsh the opportunity to address his unacceptable behavior, he can choose if he wishes to do so or not, get over it.

This is what universities have become. Taken from Today's Sunday Times.

Sadly one I use to work at many years ago.

If you disagree with him or not, at least people should have an opinion. The education system is eradicating a choice and labeling.

This is just one main aspect that is wrong in the UK and education system and has had an impact on society including brexit.

The student is not studying engineering. He is studying Social Work Studies maybe/probably with some vocational aspect and that requires aspects of diversity appreciation/understanding. Sounds like an aspirant political stunt artist. University of Central Lancashire. The last thing the Social Work profession needs is some extreme right-wing nutter pushing his luck. If he wants to try that on, then study something else, somewhere else.

Cohen, another remainer using the NYT platform to spout his own biased opinion, instead of telling the story from both sides, as a real journalist should do. His tweets are just as bad. Awful.

An opinion piece in the opinion section, clearly labeled as such. Good article btw, spot on.

Ukip student must take diversity class

Nicola Woolcock

February 23 2019, 12:01am, The Times

Sebastian Walsh said that immigrants should not have access to the NHS
Sebastian Walsh said that immigrants should not have access to the NHSTRIANGLE NEW

An undergraduate who supports Ukip and was suspended for offending fellow students and lecturers has been told that he can return to university provided he first attends diversity training.

Sebastian Walsh, 19, had criticised the “Islamisation” of Britain, said the NHS should not be free to immigrants and described halal meat as barbaric and inhumane. The University of Central Lancashire, in Preston, sanctioned him after receiving multiple complaints about “offensive and inappropriate comments” in lectures and seminars.

Mr Walsh, from Wigan, has been told to stay away until September when he can resume his social work studies course as long as he signs a good conduct agreement and successfully completes the diversity course. Claiming that he had been victimised by the university and describing himself as an advocate of free speech, he said: “I will be fighting the university’s decision on this to make sure others aren’t punished for their opinions in future.”

He said his problems had begun during a break in a lecture. “I went over to another table to try and socialise because everyone was still pretty new. I was trying to make friends with more people. We got on to the subject of food and what takeaways we ate. All I did was voice my opinions . . . I am against halal meat.

“In another seminar, we had a discussion about the privatisation of the NHS and I simply said I don’t think free healthcare should be available to immigrants. These are views held by many people in the public and I believe I should be able to express them freely.”

A spokesman for the university said: “The university promotes lawful, open debate, the discussion of varying views and academic freedom and has in place robust procedures to ensure this can take place. In this case, a number of official complaints were made by students regarding a series of offensive and inappropriate comments made by Sebastian Walsh during lectures and seminars.

“We cannot divulge the actual comments made by Sebastian as they formed part of a confidential investigation. They clearly breached a number of the university’s conduct regulations, including those relating to harassment and bringing the university into disrepute. The student has been temporarily suspended for the remainder of the academic year and is aware that on the successful completion of a diversity training course, he will be able to resume his studies.”

I agree. They should just have kicked the little neonazi out rather than wasting resources on giving him a second chance. A complete waste of time and money.

I used to regularly stay at the Nyhavn hotel in Copenhagen, a converted warehouse- stunningly good.

So if he was an engineering student then his right for freedom of expression would be allowed?
