Another song? Really? Ok. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (key of B flat)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, oooooooooohhhhhhhhh (you need to picture Yevgeny Belyaev singling Kalinka to get that right).......

The wheels on the bus are bad retreads

Bad retreads

Bad retreads

The wheels on the bus are bad retreads

Installed without nuts.

The wheels on the bus go round and round

Round and round

rouund and round

The wheels on the bus go round and round

just down the block.

The wheels on the bus they all fell off

All fell off

All fell off

The wheels on the bus they all fell off

killing chinese tourists.

The cops on the bikes they came and looked

came and looked

came and looked

The cops on the bikes they came and looked

and left with their baht.

The driver obviously didn't do his first parade service this morning, that means walking around your vehicle visually checking that all lights work, wheel nuts are tight and secure, tyre pressures correct, tread depth, oil levels, fluid levels etc etc...................Cretin.

Story says they sheared off, probably at the same time when he was driving.

From the photo something is not adding up .. 4 of the studs look to have sheared off but wheel nuts appear to still be in position on 2 others ..

OK.

1993, Hull city center, Uk

Got in a cab with 3 other mates on the piss out side the tower night club,

heading out of town,  going round a corner and the rear wheel come off the cab.

the cab ground to a halt, with us lot,  in stitches of what just went on.

No one hurt,  we found the wheel , but not the nuts, so game over, driver got a back up cab for us all. a very funny drunken night, with a lost cab rear wheel.

so, there you go a story from home country.

But like,  all stuff like this, it happens to much over here. :jap:

Why game over? Just take three nuts from the other three wheels and put the wheel back on. Drive carefully to wherever you need to go to get more nuts. Not rocket science.

I truly hope you blokes never go bush in Oz....you would not survive.

Because it was a public service vehicle,  thats why.

no rocket science needed for this one.

Do you work freelance in a Thai bus garage ?  :giggle:

Good that no one was hurt.

If such a thing flies of at high speed it kills.

Many years ago, my bank manager in the UK who had just refused me a business loan was killed the next day when a truck wheel came loose, bounced off the motorway and landed on him as he was cycling on a path next to the road...

As you mention he'd just refused you a loan, it wasn't to start a business inspecting wheel nuts was it?

Was his replacement any more amenable.

Hard to say. Could be nuts holding the inner wheel.
