I like the shorter quarters, hope they keep them.

For me, the footy has been pretty much under whelming so far.

Having said that, WC haven't played as yet.

The crowd certainly adds to the atmosphere.

But I think a lot of people, myself included are just flat over the virus.

Should be 3 good games today though.

Shorter quarters are going to help younger teams and older teams over the course of the year

Given the season is 17 games and games are 20% shorter, teams such as Hawthorn and Geelong will be able to manage their older players better and not fade out in the last 5 minutes.

Ditto for young teams such as Sydney and Adelaide. They wont get burnt out by game 10 and the bottom half of the season is a blow out.

What will happen to our season. SA and WA are closing their borders. All visitors will have to self isolate for 14 days.

Big Gil will be making an announcement soon.

Difficult to see the season being played out as 17 games unless there is some type of universal testing for covid-19 made available and at the ready
Perhaps a 10 game season is the best they can hope for

I think they will play longer and try and fit as many games in as possible over a short period.

IMO, anything less than 17 games and the finals should be canned.
