Rain

Featured Replies

Tried everything to make it rain.

Washed/polished the cars, washed the dogs, washed all the heavy stuff that takes a while to dry.

Watered the two lawns.

Prayed to Odin, is that the right one?

Any other ideas out there?

I noticed they sent the rain making planes up on Monday........but nothing came of it!

Have you tried a rain dance?

After a good few beers my wife says it looks like I'm ballroom dancing on the way to bed but that hasn't worked either.

The cyclone in the Bay of Bengal may trigger some showers in Thailand when it makes landfall in Northern India next week or so.

So if I knock up a vindaloo I might tempt it to head this way. ????

True story:

It was raining heavy last week.

I went outside for the view , and saw the people next door

watering their plants and at the other side of the road

cleaning their doorsteps with a well purposed gardenhose.

Still raining a little, I went back inside.

I aint got two lawns, don't own a car,  and the dogs stayed indoors.

Odin is too far away and the indians are sleeping in their timezone.

I don't have a idea.

But I got it on 'cctv'

????

When you find the "spell" let me know! 17:00 here and still 40c, dogs are all inside, which I am not keen on, but too hot out for them also! ????

Know what you mean. It's the look through the door and the expression on their faces. The flop down on the cool tiles inside is obviously so pleasing.

Mine's inside too.  Frog jumped in her water dish outside and thinks it's a swimming pool.

Today i took the bike and went to buy a guitar, as soon as i was on the way back, it started pouring heavily.

That took my pleasure away a bit, but glad that the guitar survived.

Temperature is about 1 degree less than yesterday now, but something is better than nothing.

I always find turning off the electric makes it rain????
