In the past year, I have bought three pairs of these earphones, one costing around 800Bt, which just stopped working, and the other 400Bt, the sound became scratchy, around the same time I bought a pair in Powerhouse at the special offer of 90Bt, it was the only pair left. It has at least twice the volume of the previous pairs.

I was always more concerned about the quality than the volume, as you will know, you cannot try them before you buy even though the prices range from about 200Bt to about 800Bt or more.

When listening to music I like a decent volume though not too loud. and these Apps you get in the Google Playstore which give you more volume are completely useless as they take away greatly from the quality of the sound.

Anyone know what to look for when buying these earplugs to get a decent volume and sound quality?

I bought Jabra elite 65T.  Fit is great.  Sound is great.  Range is great.  Controls everything from the earbuds.  Lazada has them.  Bought my wife some Bluedeo's over the ear headset great punchy base.  Both are Bluetooth 5.0. 

Both have very long battery life because of the bluetooth 5.0

 

Price 1 to 6,000 baht. 

Bought JBL C150SI in-ear headphones from Lazada last year and using for computer - very impressed with sound quality and Lazada sells for 279 baht currently.  Over 7,000 sold and 5 star rating so other must feel the same as me - very good quality at a very reasonable price.

I don't even know what bluetooth is, anything with the word BLUE on it puts me off.

That Bluetooth is wireless type so have freedom from cord if your source provides Bluetooth output but have a need for power supply.  I am old (school) and happy with lightweight cord.  Believe they are very good value - bought 3 extra pairs after using to give to grandchildren.  As a former ditty-bopper (morse code) find them more than comfortable from what we had to use.

Yes your old school I used to be like you but the devices you show  that size, you can have bluetooth devices that can stay on for 20 hours already. Its the smaller earbud bluetooth that are a problem as there is not much room for a battery. I am 100% switched to bluetooth best decision ever especially during a workout. 

 

 

99 baht ones from7/11....lasted me over a year and still going strong. Quality and volume ok

That's interesting, the ones I got in Powerhouse are white, when I watch movies, the volume can go up to 200, the powerhouse 90 Bt ones are used at 60, while any other including the more expensive ones are

used at 120.

Recently purchased airpods and I'm soooo glad! It's so comfortable, although I'm scared that I'll loose one of them since they're so small ????
