Russian woman injured after taking selfie on Patong rocks

A lifeguard site on Facebook reported that they attended to a young Russian woman who fell from rocks while taking a selfie.

Men from the Patong Surf Life Saving were first on the scene in the Laem Petch area around 1.45 pm yesterday.

Friends said the lady was trying to get the beautiful view in the background when she tumbled.

She hurt her back and thigh but luckily not her head.

After being given first aid and an inspection on the beach she was ferried to Patong Hospital.
