Video: Just chillin' - but irate netizens nearly faint!

 

Caption: Lying down and chilling......using feet instead of hands

 

Video posted on Facebook showed a man in red and a cap lying down on a motorcycle using his feet instead of his hands to control his machine. 

 

The irate Thai netizens were out in force on social media to slam the irresponsibility of it all.

 

But others said they had seen the guy before - he was a dab hand at using his feet to play the guitar. 

 

The 36 second footage was posted by Phanuwat Laophilai who was cruising through Chiang Yeun in Maha Sarakham in Thailand's north east. 

 

He got nearly 1,000 shares and posted some interesting north eastern dialect to explain his surprise:

 

Goo Yaan Lom Dae! (I nearly feckin' fainted).

The person filming this is none too bright either. Driving that close, if the prat on the scooter came off, it would be all over.

Doing that and no helmet is not too bright, but at least to his credit he was driving slow and was back to using his hands as soon as the truck in front of him stopped. Just another day on the road here...

and not to exclude the fact he has no number plate which likely means he has no tax no insurance and the bike might even be stolen, and a licence ? - how do Thai authorities expect to enforce the law with people like this - if an owner is not willing to comply with the law in such a manner - in this case the bike should be impounded and crushed and the owner hit with a hefty fine

The police seem toothless.

 

Confiscate this lads moto and simply crush it.

Getting irate and all worked up over the irresponsibility of it all is about as useless as being worried about public safety here. People can be so petty these days. Live and let live. What is the most harm this guy is going to cause with his stunts? Cracking his own head maybe. Chill out. Calm down. Get a life, please.

Agreed up to a point, if he was on a back road, country track yes. But that looks like a main road and maybe not the best place to show off your trick riding skills!
