Interesting site. Never knew it existed. Good luck to him. Claims to have support from 'National Endowment for Democracy' and the Heinrich Böll Foundation. From wikipedia which has some interesting comments on these organisations, mission statements as follows -

'The National Endowment for Democracy is a U.S. non-profit soft power organization that was founded in 1983 with the stated goal of promoting democracy abroad. It is funded primarily through an annual allocation from the U.S. Congress in the form of a grant awarded through the United States Information Agency.'

'The Heinrich Böll Foundation is part of the Green political movement that has developed worldwide as a response to the traditional politics of socialism, liberalism, and conservatism. Our main tenets are ecology and sustainability, democracy and human rights, self-determination and justice. We place particular emphasis on gender democracy, meaning social emancipation and equal rights for women and men. We are also committed to equal rights for cultural and ethnic minorities and to the societal and political participation of immigrants. Finally, we promote non-violence and proactive peace policies.'

What makes you think it's only been around for a year? I've been reading it for several years now.

I would not trust anyone or anything that is sponsored or credited by an institute/charity that is supposedly promoting democracy.

Normally there is something behind it and has nothing to do with democracy.

Think Vietnam War; Think Iraq, Think Afganistan, Think Libya, Think Syria and especially those "white hats" promoting democracy.
