Video: Police "training camp" for warring teens falls on deaf ears as violence flares

Thai caption: Students fight - after training camp

A police training seminar in Samut Prakan descended into chaos as warring teens - brought together to train them to live in peace - descended into violence.

The groups from two institutes were in training over two days on July 8 and 9. They were split into two levels and it was after the second level had been trained and were going home that violence flared.

Plastic chairs were seen being hurled as the police tried to keep order.

Pol Col Pokpaphod Badeephitak said he had not taken this lying down.

He had called in the miscreants for yet more training in not committing bad behavior.

No serious damage or injuries resulted from the incident, he said.

That would not be a bad idea. Instead of forcing national conscription on poor souls who are unlucky enough to get the wrong ticket, put these little scrotes through the training complete with the requisite punishment beatings.

this is as close to real combat these kids will ever see in Thailand's fake military.

if only they could focus on something political.

Well, that tells me exactly in what high regard the police are held here. Total disrespect, not only for the police, but also for themselves.

No wonder, as they are blatantly allowed to flout the rule of law on a daily basis.

Agreed

The youth of tomorrow to lead the country forward.

Thailand has consigned itself to the socially immoral grave.

"So the training went as well as could be expected. Any more crackers Gromit?????'
