PATTAYA:--The Riviera Group, Pattaya’s leading Luxury property developers signed a Construction Bank Finance deal for 520 million baht (US$ 16.8 million) with Siam Commercial Bank on 31 July, 2019. This loan is for the final construction phase of The Riviera Monaco.

Riviera Group Owners Winston and Sukanya Gale said, “We have worked with SCB for over 8 years and I am happy to see the trust and business ties between both parties growing from strength to strength. This is the 4th major deal we have made with SCB totalling a hefty sum of 3.28 billion baht.

The Riviera Monaco is a 40-storey luxury condominium built on a 3-rai plot of land, offers 412 units of different sizes. The exceptional design and architecture of this unique, modern and sophisticate building ensures that that 77% of the units will have unobstructed views of the sea.

My expectation is that by the end of 2022 the picture in this news article will be little changed due to the slowdown.  Saw and read so much similar  in 2007.  If I was a major shareholder in SCB ???????? I would be somewhat concerned at this lending policy.

So how long for The casino especially now the tourist numbers are down.

Why do the developers never pic a Thai, or at least Chinese name? It's a love and hate thing with Europe.

Great idea - let all the thousands of Chinese gamblers flood into Pattaya! Maybe even construct a deep water port for Chinese submarines.

If there is no one in them, the view is unimportant.

I find it ridiculous to name it like this.

Monaco has nothing to do with Pattaya.

Would a developer on the French riviera name its project "the Pattaya towers"?

No he would not because Pattaya is not a symbol of wealth . Being luxury and expansive units name Monaco represents just that luxury , wealth , rich life style.

Precisely.

Also, it would be interesting to see if the sales staff know some basic info about Monaco, its history etc... and can locate Monaco on a map. In case a customer asks the question out of curiosity. If you name it Monaco and sell the units at these prices, a customer should expect to get a little more substance than the usual blank stare. But sorry i am a little off topic. Been here too long.

If you need someone to tell you what or where Monaco is, it is highly unlikely you would be able to afford even a car spot in that development ????

Only if it never got past 60% of construction and had two cranes on the top. ????
