August 22, 20196 yr Hi, anybody exit Phuket International Airport recently? As due to the recent lack of staff in counter and long queues probably due to the fingerprint machine. How long is the queue for the departure line? Do i need to buy fast track service if i don't want to wait too long in the queue?

End last month there was a fingerscanner at my counter(FTL) but the IO had no mood to use it he told me lol. When came back last week had to do the scan. Waiting time normal lines about 15 min and fast track done in 30 sec about 7pm.

If in the system it would make sense to scan on exit. Double check, verify etc. But agree, it doesn't help to keep the bad people out.
