Esso has launched a new line of gasoline and diesel fuels, produced with its new Synergy Fuel Technology that offers 30 per cent improved cleaning ability and engine protection. Additional benefits include improved acceleration and engine response.

The technology now applies to all Esso fuel grades in Thailand.

Yodpong Sutatham, AP Marketing Programs Manager of ExxonMobil Ltd, said, “The Synergy Fuels Technology is the new global standard for our fuels. The introduction in Thailand today is part of our global launch, with similar events already held in the Asia-Pacific region including Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Guam, Saipan and New Caledonia.”

He said the Synergy Fuels Technology was developed at the same ExxonMobil Research and Engineering labs used by the Red Bull Formula One Racing Team, and includes dual detergents to clean engine parts such as intake valves.

Manoch Munjitjuntra, Esso Director and Retail Sales Manager at Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited, said Esso is investing in more attractive and brighter service stations to enhance our customers’ overall experience.

All Esso service stations in Thailand will be converted to the new Synergy look. Currently, 70 per cent of its 617 stations across Thailand have been converted to the new look with the rest to be completed by early 2020.

"...and includes dual detergents to clean engine parts such as intake valves."

The only thing within the cylinder head, which could use cleaning are the EXHAUST valves and seats, not the intake. Besides I would like to know, how the engine response could be improved, when engines today already are equipped with an intelligent valve train, four valves per cylinder and electronic ignition. Hogwash in my opinion.

When people travel and need a fuel stop, it's rarely to get "just fuel", it's usually to do and get other things. Bathroom, food, drink, take a break etc

They would need to do have something more than a pretty uniform and a pump ! It's about what else the service station has. That's why many (most?) will use and look for PTT as in most cases there is a 7-11, a parking area, bathrooms, Amazon coffee, and other outlets.

A proper pit-stop for the human as well as the machine.????

Most couldn't careless about technicalities of the fuel, as long as it's the right grade/type for the vehicle.

City Folk are lucky, Shell sites in the provinces are generally tatty places, dont have E85.Etc , leaving as usual PTT, and one exelent smaller place called Pure who seem to have the most cheerful staff in Thailand and E 85/ 20 allways
