One Aussie dollar equals 10baht

Whilst attempting to use Elliot Wave Theory to plot the course of our dollar against the Thai baht and looking for input from other sources I came against the attached prediction. Scary stuff.

Personally I don’t see it coming back for a long time with a good chance a bottom might be in at 19.5baht if that is the case we might see it in a trading range of 19.5 to 20.5 for a long period of time.

Would be happy to receive thoughts on this.

Too far out in time to be meaningful...

But, at least you will have plenty of Thai coming there for vacations... put another shrimp on the barbie mate... you will be flourishing with the growth in the tourism industry...

The problem with these predictions is they use the "latest trends" to project the future.   But the "latest trends" are always changing which then revises the predictions.

Any chartists on TV?

Long term chart indicates a triple top in 2012. Was the reversal in 2014 or was that just a “b” wave in a first abc and now we could be nearing the end of a second “c” wave looking for a reversal?

If the AUD becomes that weak, then car manufacturers may consider relocating from Thailand back to Australia!! As it stands, some manufacturing companies have already left Thailand in recent times due to the strong Baht and constantly increasing minimum wages.

Could very well do, but unlikely to slide as heavily against the real currencies unless something drastic happened in Oz, like weak, self-absorbed lefty idiots trying to scupper a legit change creating massive uncertainty thus hitting forex.
