best rates exchange rates for thai currency

Featured Replies

Can any regular travelers, please advise--over the next few months, i will travel to- Vietnam-Bali- NZ- Australia....

if i take thai bahts in cash---how is the best way to maximise exchange rates ,taking advantage of very high baht ????

if i exchange at super rich at airport , will i get more than if i exchanged at airports in  the above countries...

or is the difference not worth worrying about ?

Do not take Thai baht cash and exchange it in other countries. You will suffer a loss if you do this. You need to exchange your Thai baht into your destination currency while you are in Thailand.

The best exchanges are normally Super Rich Head Office (near Central World) and Vasu (the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 7/1).

You can compare the exchange rates online by clicking the above links.

From common sense: never exchange substantial amounts at international airports.

For Thailand this is well known and I guess not different in other countries.

For multiple countries I would consider to buy US Dollars as intermediate.

As far as I know you can pay in USD directly in Vietnam(?).

For VND you need a big suitcase.
