Or an old Australian TV series "Rush" set in the gold rush era. Theme by George Dreyfus.

 

Theme from the David Lynch epic Twin Peaks, still evokes good memories of a series that made me stay home to watch it (however, the very last episode was a cold-shower 'It was all a dream' bummer).
