ZTE F620 Router, with TOT fiber 4U

Featured Replies

I have TOT Fiber 2U, 200 Mbps down 200 Mbps up. but

I believe ,but not sure the ZTE F620 router is only 10-100 Mbps

I can only get around 100 Mbps -+ with TOT speedtest,

I have the computer connected to router with CAT 7

RJ45 Cables, so they should not be any problem.

Had the TOT engineer out to check things,he says

router is up to 1000 Mbps,?, but checking on websites

some say its only good for 10 - 100 Mbps.

It's no good me paying for 200 Mbps when the maxim

i can get through the router is only 100 Mbps, also TOT

should not be selling me the 200 mbps package,if they

know i can never achieve those speeds.even if just to BKK. Thanks

regards Worgeordie

I have had the same model router for a few years now also with TOT Fibre. The LAN ports are definitely Gigabit. Mine is in bridge mode to another router but that still depends on the ZTE LAN ports delivering 1000mbps.

My package is 500/100 and local speed tests show slightly over those speeds.

I would check the network settings of your notebook LAN adaptor to make sure that it is negotiating a gigabit connection and not just 100mbps. If not, try another cable. Next I would try changing the LAN adaptor drivers.

If you have access to another notebook, with Gigabit LAN, try that. If you are definitely getting a Gigabit LAN connection but still not getting your package speed then it looks like a TOT issue.

Would have been my first suggestion.

For Windows 10:

Quote
  1. Open the "Settings" app in Windows 10.
  2. Go to "Network & Internet" -> "Ethernet"
  3. Click the link "Change adapter properties": ...
  4. Double click the adapter whose speed you need to know.

From the datasheet it is a gigabit capable router.

Optical: Transmit rate: 2.488Gbps downstream;1.244Gbps upstream

LAN: 4 x10/100/1000Base-T; Half/full duplex; Auto MDI/MDIX; Auto negotiation

I will bump this topic and say I have the same F620 and only LAN port 1 is capable of gigabit speeds the other 3 are not. The advertised spec for the ports is GE on all 4 ports but mine and a neighbors do not work that way. As I said only Port 1 is GE capable

I had the F620 router for 2 years.... it started to slow everything and then stopped.

Have a new AC1200 router....this seems to have blocking..TV box doesn't now work....internet is slow and ToT say sorry...all lines are at capacity and there's nothing they can do...Cha Am region. 3BB use ToT lines and they're failing also of course.....but...still offering 200/200 for 500.Tb.

Sorry to hear of your issues but this does not answer my question about the specs for the F620 ports and my issues. The F620 I have passes data and no apparent slowdowns that I blame the ONU for. Just the LAN ports do not operate the same.
