Woman escapes serious injury as motorbike crushed by truck in front of hospital

PHUKET: A woman escaped serious injury as the motorbike she was riding was crushed under the front wheels of a six-wheeled truck in front of Vachira Phuket Hospital in Phuket Town this morning (Nov 18).

 

Capt Viphawan Watthanangngernthananong of the Phuket City Police reported that the accident occurred shortly before 8:30am.

 

Capt Viphawan said that she was notified of the accident by staff at the hospital, located on Yaowarat Rd.

so it would seem the truck overtook the bike, that was about to overtake a car, bike hits car and falls under trucks front wheels, someone not thinking, i wonder who

Pathetic !  They just leave her lying in the road in the wrong position with no head support ! They really don't care, do they ?

I maybe it is not caring  but more they do not have the correct training.

looks like the ambulance is just arriving, should not move injured persons, could have spine/neck injuries.

It would seem that Eakkapop got there before the ambulance!

 

The guy is a good photographer and seems to cover the ground very quickly.

 

Well done for investing in a proper crash helmet - and wearing it - although it should not have been removed before the medics arrived. (I'm guessing as the doors of the ambulance are still closed).
