Aren't they all?

Yes, and with such petit negligence it was very unfortunate that the poor woman had to lose her life. Wonder what we all can do next time to prevent such an awful and unnecessary as well as very unlucky accident to happen.

Was she wearing a helmet? If so it may have prevented her death. RIP

Mowed down from behind by a pick-up driver seems to be the most common way out ????

It is very common, I've known many to die this way, and also vehicles turning in on a motorcycle, never ride beside a vehicle in Thailand, death usually instant.

For this reason it is deadly for a motorcycle to stop at a red light when vehicles behind have no intention to stop, Thailand always Russian roulette 555
