Human remains have been found in a submerged Nissan car in the Chainat - Pasak Nai canal in Saraburi in central Thailand.

They are believed to be of a 36 year old woman called Klinkaysorn from Phraphuttabat, Lopburi.

She went missing three years ago along with her car.

Her mother is convinced it is her in the car and she believes it was murder.

Her personal effects were in the car and silicone breast implants that her daughter had had were also found.

Her daughter was a fertilizer sales woman and business owner.

She was having an affair with the elderly owner of the fertilizer company, she said. She thinks he is involved in her disappearance.

The family have tried for years to find her and now believe their wait is over and want justice.

Police said that the case will be a difficult one to prove as much evidence has been washed away.

But they are giving credence to the idea that it was murder because the body seems to have been wrapped in a bedsheet. The relationship with the elderly man is also of interest, they said.

Most of the body parts were found in the front left passenger seat.

A front left window was also broken.

Police are waiting for forensic details to confirm the identity of the victim and cause of death.

The presumed victim was also the owner of a steak house and Thai costume shop in Phraphuttabat.
