You still didn't understood that it will not happen ??

UK signed long ago agreements at UN level...

quoted from here. An many EU countries have fished in these waters for centuries !

You are talking rollocks. Habitually is not from the 1970s when a fisheries policy was agreed and like any other policy, it can be changed. The UK use to fish all around the world from the 1600s are you saying they can go back fishing there, as they did for hundreds of years. You see how ridiculous your statement is.

RR have you a hangover or ranting for no reason?

I could answer it with will we see less posts of Remainers telling us how we will miss the EU and regret it.

Or how Scotland deserves another referendum and then another and another until some people get the result they want.

Evidence please! There hasn't been any posts like that.

We remainers got a kicking we don't like it but we can't do anything about it Brexit is over.

By the way you own it.

You need evidence go and look at all the Brexit posts on here. You can fill your boots.

What am I on my own about.

I don't know what you mean by a kicking. if you voted to remain that's fine in a democratic referendum. if you were one of those that wanted to revoke article 50 without any reason (Lib Dems) well maybe you deserved a kicking.

The GE has been done and the people spoke. End of story.

I think the remainers have done enough damage already, they will be remembered in history as the people that tried to defy democracy, thank the Lord you failed.

So does this mean we will soon stop seeing the desperate posts from Brexiteers predicting the imminent demise of the EU for the thousandth time? That is not only obsessive, it is bordering on pathetic.

No, because you need lots of reminders, lest you forget.

We should have a hall of fame for all the brexiteers who have gone before, their oft-repeated predictions of the EU's imminent demise having failed to transpire.

Whilst I rarely agree with you and your views I have always had an admiration for your sensibility in your argument, in general.

I am afraid I just don't know where on earth you are coming from at the moment with your argumentative direction, other than anger.

You have remainers on here who have changed their names more than most change socks. all to try and justify their argument.

As for predictions we all like to throw a few in the hat.

I predicted that David Cameron would call a referendum. The result would be leave. What abuse and ridicule I received on here. Just o name a few. Spidey, Chomper Higgins, Grouse, BinThailand99 just to name a very few. Where are these now or who are they masquerading as??

Regardless, I have found the remain camp to be aggressive, rude and often abusive shouting down at people. Very much like many politicians, who are now wondering where did it all go wrong.

I know you are a champion of Scotland's independence. If that's what the majority want, so be it. But there is nothing worse than screaming down peoples throat about a cause, especially when it is not so convincing.

It is a new year coming soon. Brexit has gone, you still have your fight but can't we all still stay civil. If one thing the last election  should have taught people is that tolerance is often limited.

I hope you have a wonderful New Year RR.

Interesting article in the Time today.

Anger? It is a very rare posts of mine that is thumped out; as I have mentioned several times previously, things could hardly have worked out better over the past couple of years so the ensuing chaos gives me hope for the future.

Of course, the problem with the written word is that emotion is often difficult to convey so if my post came across as angry, please do not take it as such as that was not my intention.

I will, however, continue to point out what I perceive as inconsistencies in the positions of those with whom I have a difference of opinion - and in those with whom I generally agree. Rest assured, though, that the vast majority of my posts will be written with a wry smile on my lips and an optimistic glint in my eye.

Best wishes to you for the coming new year too, LG - I sincerely wish that we both end up satisfied with what the year brings us.

Sorry to tell you but the trade negotiations are just beginning on Feb 1st. And if they fail, you're back to trade barriers and tariffs under the WTO.

How quickly do you expect the EU demise to happen - a few days or weeks? We haven't even left yet. We haven't stopped the contributions yet. The EU's obstinacy in trade deals hasn't affected their UK exports yet.

Not that it will all be down to Brexit, but it will certainly not help them. The EU's own cracks are already there for its' collapse, without the UK's exit.

I don't expect it to collapse at all. I am merely pointing out that there have been so many harbingers over the past few years pointing to prevailing events in Italy, Austria, Hungary etc. all being portentous, yet none of those events transpired to anything of significance.

Hi. I just read on the BBC site about all the promises Boris Johnson made in recent days, and I just wonder: How will he pay all that??

He talked about money this year (with UK still with EU) for NHS, schools, minimum salary, science/research, infrastructures, … Is UK budget so easily extensible ?

Oh no! The French are going to be tracking British fishing waters post Brexit.

What happened to taking our nation back?

Scraping the barrel-bottom there. You should be embarrassed to use this Moorehouse donkey, the same cretin who said Boris was finished! ????

A sensitive reaction from the Brexiteers.

Try not to shoot the messenger, rather listen to his message.

You're not going to be controlling British waters. The French will be.

The shame, the horror....
