When a guy like this can get to the top post, with the potential to again hijack the country, it  emphasises just how ****** up this country is!

His father was Sunthorn Kongsompong de facto head of government of Thailand from 1991 to 1992, after a military coup led by Sunthorn and General Suchinda Kraprayoon deposed the government of Prime Minister Chatichai Choonhavan  on February 23, 1991.

A May 1992 constitution law prohibited members of the military from executing the office of the Prime Minister and he left political office.

So, yes he has had help to his position, and he should know Thailand has not always wanted army people at the top.

“However there are people who have ulterior motives and are trying to use these activities as a cover for other objectives, which defeat the purpose of physical training.”

Seriously, do you think that he doesn't see the irony?

Soldiers train for what purpose here? to babysit for the G's, to take care of livestock for the G's, and the list goes on and on. Astonishing that he doesn't see it! Wow, just wow!  ????
