The young guy in the video was a really good actor who starred in a few movies about the Chechen war and life as a young Russian, but sadly died in an avalanche in North Ossetia in 2002.

I first heard this guy playing in a taxi in eastern Russia but my Russian at the time was not good enough to ask the driver who was singing. I saw him play live one time, maybe 2009, such a great gig.
