Lost aerox smart key

Featured Replies

Leant my aerox to a nephew and he has managed to lose the smart key somehow

I can still start it with the secret keycode but just wondering how much they will charge for a new one

Has anyone else had this problem yet and how much did it cost and how long does it take to get a new one?

if you still have the code, new key is around 1300 from the dealer, plus programming fee if they decide to charge any

if you lose the code, the whole thing needs to be replaced for around 2-3000

if the bike is stolen they may check you have all the keys, there is an exclusion in some policies, I don't blame them really

I have the code, still using the bike

Will go get one soon

Thx for the answer

I would be extremely nervous

about where and who found the key and would consider the whole new programming ,just a thought.

Make sure the code gets changed so that the old key wont work anymore. Also I suggest that you make your nephew (if old enough, otherwise his parents) cover the expenses just so they learn a bit.

It was lost in a city centre

Don't really care, the bike is fully insured anyways but it's unlikely the bike and the lost key will be in the same place again
