Guys & Gals,

Does anyone have any experience of buying the tickets for this year's Moto GP in Buriram? I can see that it's possible to buy online on the official website, but I am reluctant to commit to a particular seat, and would like to know if there's more choice of tickets.

Any help is gratefully appreciated, even if from last season's experience.

It had the biggest gate of the season last year so I suspect choice may be limited now especially as the almost-local Petronas team is doing rather well. Accommodation may be tricky too as its only about 8 weeks away.

Cheers,

We have accommodation and would be ok to get Grandstand tickets but we worry that you're limited to your delegated seat.

I got a grandstand seat as soon as they were on sale. All sold out in five minutes. Some available on black market with resellers selling at 5,000 to 6,000 Bt

good luck

Several selling sites still have grandstand ticket . Best area to be in for shade etc . You can sit anywhere in the stand as no specific seat allocation. Wife went to first one and wanted to go last year but couldn’t get a grandstand ticket so never went although a lot were given to the high and mighty rather than real fans.
This year can’t make it but it is a total success as far as can make out and very highly organised . Hopefully they extend the contract and change the track slightly .

"The first two races of the MotoGP season have been cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The first race in Qatar on Sunday is off because of travel restrictions imposed on passengers from Italy.

Six of the riders in MotoGP's premier class are Italians and some teams are based in the country.

Organisers have now cancelled the second race in Thailand on 22 March "in the best interests of the nation and participants".

Moto2 and Moto3 will still race this weekend as their teams were already in Qatar for pre-season testing."

Actually, the Thai Grand Prix, scheduled from March 20-22 has been postponed until further notice.
